Pakistan’s instant payment system. PayMint is designed to use Raast Person-to-Merchant (P2M) so buyers can pay from Raast banking or wallet apps after approval. Network speed is not a PayMint settlement SLA.
Person-to-Merchant. A consumer pays a registered merchant, not another person peer-to-peer.
A checkout QR unique to that order. Desktop buyers scan it with a Raast app and confirm the amount.
A payment request sent into the buyer’s banking or wallet app. Mobile checkouts often prefer this over scanning a QR.
Your bank account number for settlement. Successful PayMint payments target your registered IBAN, not a PayMint balance.
We handle session and status on Shopify. Customer order funds are designed to settle on Raast to your merchant account.
Merchant Discount Rate, usually a percentage taken from each transaction. PayMint uses a monthly package instead of a PayMint MDR on GMV.
Cash on delivery. Still common in Pakistan. PayMint can sit beside COD so digital-ready buyers pay before dispatch.
The Shopify handshake for an order payment. We should only mark it paid after a verified Raast success.
A Raast identifier buyers use in banking or wallet apps—often a mobile number. Request to Pay targets that alias so the buyer can approve the amount in their app.
1LINK’s merchant-facing Raast P2M API product (QR, alias, RTP). PayMint integrates as a checkout layer on top of certified rail access—not as a DIY offline QR generator.
A widely used Pakistan digital wallet. Buyers may pay a PayMint Shopify checkout from JazzCash when the app supports Raast P2M QR or Request to Pay. JazzCash is not a PayMint product.
A widely used Pakistan digital wallet (Telenor Microfinance Bank). Buyers may pay via easypaisa when Raast P2M is enabled in their app. easypaisa is not a PayMint product.
A Pakistan digital wallet / EMI-style app that can participate in Raast flows. Buyers may scan or approve RTP from NayaPay when supported. NayaPay is not a PayMint product.
Major Pakistan banks whose mobile apps often support Raast. Buyers can pay merchant QRs or RTPs from those apps when the bank has enabled P2M. PayMint does not operate bank apps.
Shopify’s first-party payments product is unavailable for merchants in Pakistan. Local stores use COD and alternative methods instead. PayMint is a separate Raast-first payments app effort.
