Raast
Raast Person-to-Merchant (P2M) lets customers pay merchants instantly from banking and wallet apps. PayMint is an early-access Shopify payments app designed to start that checkout from Shopify—with QR on desktop and Request to Pay on mobile—then settle to your merchant IBAN.
Raast is Pakistan’s instant payment system. P2M is the merchant acceptance use case: the buyer pays a registered merchant, not another consumer P2P. Acceptance methods include dynamic QR, Raast alias, IBAN, and Request to Pay (RTP), depending on how the merchant and network are set up.
After Shopify Payments Partner access and rail certification, PayMint is designed to appear as a payment method at checkout. We open a payment session, show QR or send RTP, wait for verified Raast success, then resolve the Shopify session. Order funds are designed to settle to your account—not a PayMint wallet.
Shopify Payments is not available in Pakistan. Stores need prepaid options next to COD. Raast is the national instant rail buyers already use inside JazzCash, easypaisa, HBL, Meezan, and other apps. PayMint targets that gap with a fixed monthly package instead of a PayMint percentage of GMV.
PayMint is early access. Not yet listed in the Shopify App Store. Payments Partner application submitted—awaiting Shopify. Live merchant install comes after partner access, revenue share, build, and payments app review. See /status.
